Renesas Electronics has introduced the DA14533, its automotive-grade Bluetooth Low Energy (LE) SoC, designed for tire pressure monitoring, keyless entry, wireless sensors, and battery management systems. This compact system-on-chip (SoC) integrates a radio transceiver, Arm Cortex-M0+ microcontroller, memory, and security features, making it an efficient solution for next-generation automotive and industrial applications.
DA14533 uses incredibly very low power consumption, because of the integrated DC-DC buck converter. Which uses just 3.1mA during transmission, 2.5mA during reception, and an ultra-low 500nA in hibernation mode, this will extend the battery life perfect for small-capacity battery-powered systems.
It's designed to handle tough automotive conditions, working reliably in temperatures from -40°C to +105°C and comes with AEC-Q100 Grade 2 certification. A compact packaging of 3.5 x 3.5 mm, 22-pin takes up less space, which means lower costs, fewer parts to manage, and easier integration into your design.
Additionally, With Bluetooth Core 5.3 support and advanced security features, it ensures fast, secure, and reliable communication for next-gen automotive and industrial applications. The DA14533 is available now, along with the Bluetooth Low Energy SoC Development Kit Pro to help you get started. The kit comes with a motherboard, daughterboard, and cables, making it easier to develop your application software.
