Jetson ONE just hit a major milestone as its first production model, SN1, has successfully completed its maiden flight. In a newly released video, we can see the compact eVTOL (electric vertical takeoff and landing) smoothly take off, fly with stability, and land smoothly. Pilots can enjoy a 20-minute flight on Jetson ONE in a single charge. And can lift up to 210 pounds of Pilot weight.
It’s lightweight, built with an aluminum and carbon fiber frame, and designed for speed and efficiency. The ideas of Jetson one is inspired by racing cars, it features electric brushless motors, giving a top speed of 63 mph. Keeping safety as the primary focus, the flight has a radar based landing system, a reductant battery setup, and a ballistic parachute. Aircraft has the ability to to fly even when one of its motors fails giving an extra production of safety.
Anyone can fly the Jetson ONE's SN1 in the U.S. since it doesn’t require a pilot’s license. That makes personal air travel more accessible, though it’s still on the pricey side. But as technology evolves, we can expect more affordable aerial transportation options in the future.
